The criteria of the Time Out highlighted neighborhoods, areas and cities whose popularity is on the rise and in which travelers can feel like locals, as well as discover the best of art, culture, food and drink in the city.
The magazine gathered the opinions of more than 27 thousand people about the best neighborhoods of their native cities, as well as the specialized criteria of local editors and collaborators, “who know the cities better than anyone,” according to the report until they reach 50 places that you can not miss.
Time Out places these sites as points of cultural and culinary interest of the planet at this time. The list was led by the Arroios neighborhood, in Lisbon (Portugal), a place with numerous cultural centers. The first five places are completed by Shimokitazawa in Tokyo, Onikan (Lagos, Nigeria); Wedding (Berlin, Germany), and the Historic Filipinotown (Los Angeles, USA).
